At L’Appartement LLC DBA HOEM, shipping and handling charges are based on the weight of your order. In order to meet your unique needs, L’Appartement Store offers two delivery options: Standard and Express as well as a White Glove Delivery in South Florida.
We currently ship exclusively to addresses within the United States; some limitations apply. In addition, we can ship to a domestic freight forwarder of your choosing for delivery overseas. We cannot ship to P.O. boxes or to APO/FPO/DPO (Air/Army Post Office, Fleet Post Office or Diplomatic Post Office) destinations.

Standard offers delivery to your front door (if the destination is an apartment or multi-unit building, the order will be delivered inside the entrance to the building, but not to your apartment door). The typical delivery window is 3–10 business days from the day your order is shipped. Standard Delivery does not include unpacking, assembly or removal of packing materials.
Express Delivery offers delivery to your front door (if the destination is an apartment or multi-unit building, the order will be delivered inside the entrance to the building, but not to your apartment door). The typical delivery window is 1 – 3 business days from the day your order is shipped. Standard Delivery does not include unpacking, assembly or removal of packing materials.
White Glove Delivery
White Glove Delivery in South Florida includes a delivery appointment, inside delivery, assembly and placement in your room of choice and removal of all packing materials. The delivery window for White Glove service is typically 1 weeks from the day your order is shipped. Due to size, weight or fragility, we recommend the use of White Glove service on select items (noted in their product descriptions). White Glove Delivery does not include wall mounting, electrical or structural changes or assembly of shelving. Deliveries requiring cranes or window removal are available, subject to additional charges. Saturday, Sunday and holiday deliveries are also available for an additional charge. L’appartement Store strives to provide 100% customer satisfaction on all our products and services. Unless noted below, any item purchased on our website can be returned for a full refund as long as we receive a return request no later than 7 days after delivery and the item is unused. Returns must be received in original condition within 30 days. Once a returned item is received, the item will be inspected, and exchanges, credits and refunds will be issued for the purchase price only. Please make sure your merchandise is in new and unused condition with original packing material and invoice attached. Any taxes charged will be refunded in accordance with state and local laws. Shipping and return shipping charges are non-refundable. Credit card orders will receive refunds in the form of a credit back to the original account. Check and cash payments will be returned via a refund check or l’Appartement Concept Store merchandise credit.
If delivered, please be aware that furniture is susceptible to damage during transit. We take great care to pack shipments so that they will arrive safely, so be sure to retain the original packing materials, original receipt and all merchandise tags for any item that you wish to return to us. You may have to provide supplementary packing materials if the outer carton has been worn during the original trip out to you. Please inspect your purchase immediately upon delivery. If you receive a damaged, defective or incorrect item, we will work with you to make things right. Standard Shipping and White Glove Delivery Service charges are not refundable. Floor samples and items purchased during Sample Sales are sold as is, and all sales are final.
To make a return via courier service, complete the return form included with each shipment, including the return authorization number obtained from Customer Service, prepay the postage, insure each package and ship to HOEM.
Custom / Special ordered items (includes custom/special order, furniture, rugs, lighting, bedding and accessories): No returns, refunds or exchanges on any custom/special ordered items will be accepted. Customers have 24 hours from time of order is placed to cancel without penalty. Lead times are estimated on past experience and current commitments from suppliers. However due to factors beyond our control such as backorders, general production or freight delays and/or adverse weather or strikes, we cannot and do not guarantee lead times. Orders may not be cancelled nor deposits refunded due to late lead times and/or delivery.
